Movement for the Adult Actor Sundays, October 7-November 11, 2018--$180 (Weather makeup date November 18)

Ignite the power of movement in this course for the developing actor! Explore movement techniques that help the actor connect to characters, settings, objectives, and theatrical genres. Dispel those awkward concerns of "What should I do with my hands and my feet?" and start imbuing your acting work with life! Gain greater control of and flexibility in physical expression.for building characters, grounding one’s self on stage, and strengthening overall stage presence. (Though this is not a dance class, physical movement is an integral part of the course. Individual needs and capacities will be taken into account, and modifications to activities will be offered to meet the needs of various students. All students should be prepared to dress appropriately and comfortably for movement [athletic wear and sneakers or jazz shoes, for example, are suggested].)
